A no-show is the most expensive hour for a beauty professional: the chair is empty, the materials are waiting and there's no way to fit in the next client. The good news is that most no-shows aren't malicious – people simply forget.
When to send a reminder?
- ✓24 hours before – gives the client time to reschedule if needed and gives you time to fill the free slot.
- ✓2 hours before – especially good for morning appointments and long treatments.
- ✓Right after booking – a confirmation with the address and cancellation terms.
What to write?
Keep the message short and friendly: the client's first name, date, time, service and specialist's name. Add a warm greeting at the end – it shows you're looking forward to seeing them.
The result
Salons that introduced automatic reminders saw no-shows drop by 40% on average. In Pinkly you can edit the text yourself: Settings → Reminders.
